Sealyham Terrier Rescue Information: The Sealyham Terrier is a rare, white, small fluffy dog from Wales. Sealyham Terriers are bold, happy, indefatigable dogs. Sealyhams are somewhat more aloof than other types of Terriers. A pack animal, the Sealyham Terrier needs to be with people and feel like a member of the family. Sealyhams do well with older children and can usually be socialized to get along with other pets, but may be combative with other dogs. Sealyhams can live in an apartment with enough exercise. This breed does best in cooler climates.

Sealyham Terrier Trivia: Sealyham is the name of the estate belonging to Captain John Edwards, who developed the Sealyham Terrier. Sealyham Terriers are considered to be among the rarest and most endangered dog breeds. Alfred Hitchcock owned Sealyhams. Sealyham Terriers were at the height of their popularity in the 1920s. Sealyhams are descended in part from Dandie Dinmont Terriers.
